What is a Charter School?

Charter schools are public schools. They are free, non-religious, non-selective schools. Parents must choose to send their students to charter schools. Charters have more freedom to make choices about effective curriculum, teachers, academic goals and promotion requirements. In return, charter schools are held to much higher standards than other public schools.

If you have questions about applications or enrollment, please contact Amber Garner,Founding Director of Students and Families, at 615.564.1965 or at agarner@libertycollegiateacademy.org.
